The warranty on your Ariston Nuos can be extended in two steps: one more year with the official commissioning and product registration, and up to 5 years with the official service centre extension, which already includes maintenance. Here is how, and what stops a breakdown from being covered.
How the warranty is extended

The extension covers repairs (labour, travel and original parts) and the annual maintenance too: every visit, travel, labour and materials.
How to extend it to 5 years
- Book the official commissioning (free). It is a prerequisite.
- Take out the extension with us while the unit is still under warranty.
- We register it in your name and take care of the maintenance every year.
What stops a breakdown from being covered
- Skipping maintenance. Water in Alicante and Murcia is very hard, and limescale is the main cause of Nuos breakdowns. With annual maintenance, problems are very rare.
- A poor installation. If the breakdown comes from an installation fault, the repair has to be paid for. That is why commissioning matters so much.
- No commissioning when the unit is installed: it is what confirms the installation is correct and that the warranty covers it.
- Repairs by unofficial technicians. During the warranty, any repair must be done by the official service centre.

Can I extend the warranty if I have had the unit for a while?
Yes, as long as the unit is still under warranty and the official commissioning has been done.
Who registers the product?
We do, during commissioning, with your invoice and the unit’s serial number.
Is maintenance compulsory?
For the 5-year extension, yes: it is a condition. That is why the price of the extension already includes the annual maintenance, with visits, travel, labour and materials.
Can I buy the extension on the Ariston website?
Ariston’s website shows guide prices, but the extension is arranged through the official service centre, after commissioning.
