Installing a heat pump water heater

Maintenance
An annual check of the anode, the tank and the heat pump extends the life of the unit. If you have an Ariston NUOS and include it in one of our maintenance plans, its warranty goes from 2 to 5 years, with parts, labour and call-out included.

How is it different from an electric water heater?
An electric water heater heats the water with an element. A heat pump takes energy from the air to heat it, so it needs much less electricity to give you the same hot water.
Where can it be installed?
Usually in a utility room, garage or plant room with enough air, or connected to the outside through ducts. We find the best location on the visit.
What capacity do I need?
It depends on the number of people and how you use hot water. There are units of different capacities and we recommend the right one.
Do you repair NUOS heat pumps?
Yes. As the official Ariston service centre in Alicante and Murcia, we repair and maintain NUOS units.
