Heat pump and heating installation
One heat pump to heat your home in winter, cool it in summer and produce hot water. If you are replacing an oil or gas boiler, you can be paid for the energy you save through the CAE scheme.

What a heat pump does for you
One unit covers heating, cooling through water and domestic hot water. It is an alternative to an oil or gas boiler and to an electric water heater, as long as the home and its emitters are ready to work with low-temperature water.
What we look at before recommending a heat pump
- The size, insulation and orientation of the home.
- Emitters: underfloor heating, radiators or fan coils.
- How much hot water you need for the people living in the house.
- Where the outdoor unit and the tank will go.
- Whether to keep your current installation or renew it.
Heat pumps for hot water only
If you just want to replace your electric water heater, there is a simpler solution: a heat pump water heater.
Boilers and other heating systems
We also install, service and repair boilers. We are the official Ariston service centre in Alicante and Murcia, and the official Wolf service centre in Murcia.
CAE payments
Replace your oil or gas boiler and get paid for what you save
If you replace an oil or gas boiler with an air-to-water heat pump, the energy you save can be turned into Energy Savings Certificates (CAE), a Spanish government scheme. Energy companies are required to achieve savings and they pay for these certificates: the money goes to you and can cover a significant part of the investment.
- Visit and surveyWe look at your boiler, your home and your radiators or underfloor heating, and recommend the unit.
- Estimated paymentWe work out the energy you will save and what you could receive through the CAE.
- Before the work startsThe CAE agreement is normally signed before the installation begins. That’s why we look at it from the start.
- Installation and paymentWe install the heat pump, the saving is verified and you receive the money.
We handle the paperwork. With Ariston heat pumps, the CAE is managed by Ariston through us: you don’t have to deal with any forms.
The amount depends on the home, the unit and the energy saved. In 2026 the Spanish government proposed increasing the value of these certificates when a boiler is replaced with a heat pump; we’ll tell you the current position when we quote.

Frequently asked questions
What is an air-to-water heat pump?
A heat pump (called “aerotermia” in Spain) takes energy from the outside air and uses it to heat or cool water. That water supplies the heating, cooling and hot water of the home.
Can I use my existing radiators?
It depends on the radiators and the temperature they need. Heat pumps work best with underfloor heating, fan coils or low-temperature radiators. On the visit we check your emitters and tell you whether they will do or what would need changing.
Do I need a lot of space?
You need a spot outside for the unit and, depending on the system, space indoors for the hot water tank or the hydraulic module. We assess it on the visit.
What maintenance does it need?
A periodic check of the water circuit, the outdoor unit and the operating settings. It is included in our maintenance plans.
Is there financial help to replace an oil or gas boiler with a heat pump?
Yes. In Spain, the energy you save by replacing your boiler with a heat pump can be turned into Energy Savings Certificates (CAE), and energy companies pay for them. The amount depends on the home, the unit and the energy saved. It is important to look at it before the work starts, because the agreement is normally signed before the installation. With Ariston heat pumps we handle the paperwork: Ariston manages it through us.
